Jul 24, 2019  Sonic MAX is an open-source Sonic engine made in GameMaker Studio. The main purpose with this engine is to be as accurate as possible to the classic Genesis games, while allowing for as much customization as possible. Sonic MAX is designed to be efficient and easy to use with many flags for changing certain aesthetics. Ace, one of our dearest friends and member of the Sonic World crew is quickly heading towards becoming homeless. His mother has suffered a lot at the hands of terrible doctors and nurses and their home is falling apart. Full documentation for all setup and definition file formats, script commands, engine management systems, and editors is included with PC and Mac download packages, and may also be accessed from the website via links in the features section or from here via the 'Getting Started' document. YouTube’s ‘ChaosX’ has been working on a new fan remake of Sonic 06 for the PC, called Sonic the Hedgehog (P-06). Sonic the Hedgehog (P-06) promises to bring that console Sonic game on our platform via Unity Engine, and a demo is currently available for you to download.

Sonic 06 is described as one of the worst Sonic games released to date, especially due to its awful story and cheese cut-scenes. That moment when the princess kissed Sonic… yeah… it’s THAT Sonic game.

But anyway, since Sonic 06 never came out on the PC platform, gamers have been trying to create fan remakes of it. Back in 2017, we informed you about another fan remake of Sonic 2006, called SONIC THE HEDGEHOG PC. There was also a demo for that Sonic 2006 remake, however its development team has not released any additional details about it (so it could very well be dead).
