Msi Afterburner Driver Update
Dec 02, 2017 MSI Afterburner 4.3 don't work on Crimson 17.7.2. Question asked by lions7 on Jul 26, 2017. Did successfully uninstall afterburner and got the beta installed so i can oc from afterburner. I am mining using MSI Afterburner and nothing works but the non-whql 17.6.2 ver. And for MSI to register any data I would need to plug monitor. So the AMD blockchain driver pumps up the MH/s but you cant use MSI afterburner or Claymore codes to overclock/undervolt? New AMD blockchain driver and MSI afterburner? I use the blockhain driver on windows 10 + MSI afterburner 4.4.0 beta 16, I can undervolt/overclock mem and underclock core, I am running this right now 5x msi rx 580 x.
Been out and about mining other coins past month + (Monero mainly, and then some new coins for bit).. But anyways, my question:
Does Afterburner now properly work with the newest (as in the 2nd release) blockchain drivers?
Barber cut lite manual. I recall reading posts way back on how AB Beta 16 (which worked as expected with the 1st release of the blockchain drivers) didn't work with the newest drivers, and therefore one had to do all the configs through Claymore or Wattman.. Which led me to say I'll give it time before I finally go from 1st beta blockchain drivers to 2nd beta blockchain drivers.

And now I see there's a new AB Beta 17 out. So if I download that then finally install the newest beta blockchain drivers, am I good to go doing things as usual by setting OCs through AB? Or people still stuck using Claymore bat or Wattman to set their configs?
